USS Liberty Gets Its Own Weekly Radio Program on the Republic Broadcasting Network
February 14, 2008 — crescentandcrossFor 40 years and counting, the brave survivors (and their families) of the USS Liberty have tried telling the world what happened to them on June 8th, 1967 when the state of Israel attacked the United States ship for over an hour with as many as 1,000 rockets, tens of thousands of armor-piercing rounds and 5 torpedoes. For the most part, the American press has yawned and decided to cover the latest Hollywood scandal or some other nonsense that has absolutely no bearing on the more important issues facing the American people.
Now, a new development has taken place where the survivors of the Liberty will not be forced to beg a criminally-incompetent American media to tell their story. Beginning Saturday, February 23rd, the USS Liberty survivors will have their own live radio program appearing on the Republic Broadcasting Network found at www.republicbroadcasting.org.
The live, two-hour call-in program will appear every Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm CST and will be hosted by Phil Tourney, survivor of the Liberty and 3-time president of the Liberty Veteran’s Association and Mark Glenn, contributing editor for American Free Press newspaper. The weekly program, in addition to discussing the event taking place 40 years ago, will also be an in-depth analysis of current political events that have as their origin the fact that a United States ship was attacked in an act of premeditated war and was not rectified. Appearances by many of the other survivors of the Liberty will also be a regular theme, talking about what they went through that day and what has happened to them personally since that time.

of the survivors and will gladly be a part of the
show anytime Phil or Mark asks. The median age of
the survivors is probably at the sixty mark by now.
We will have our say, and things that haven’t come
out before may come out here. The horror I experienced
as Petty Officer in charge of body recovery and
identification has really never come out of my
mouth. I have never done this out of respect for the
families of those who died. Sometimes the anger of
what has been done to us makes me want to do so.

Others tried wiping us out before and failed, and remember, what we did to you 40 years ago we can do again, and this time we have subs with nuclear weapons, so just keep that in mind.

USS Liberty was done on purpose to make it appear the Arabs did it instead. The Zionist vermin wanted LBJ to attack Egypt using a nuclear bomb. He just about pushed the red button. What a tremendous idea and effort. I hope all the USS Liberty survivors and participants will get a chance to share their stories. God knows the US Government and the State of Israel have never allowed it.
Please get Ward Boston and Jim Ennes on if at all possible. I wonder if that AIPAC fifth columnist Ahron Jay Cristol will be listening?
Judging by some of the comments already, nothing makes the USS Liberty apologists go batshit crazy than the truth of the USS Liberty survivors telling the truth.

I fail to understand how this atrocity can have been kept under wrap for more than 40 years. It is one of the most outrageous false flags of the Zionists, and America — the US from Johnson ro GW Bush — have managed to muzzle the supposedly free media to tell the truth — that camouflaged Israeli planes tried to down the Liberty and to blame it on Egypt so that the US would attack Egypt in retaliation.
Thank God, the truth is about to hit America.

Wow. What a breakthrough for the crew of the USS Liberty. I’ve read a number of articles about this and have watched a few videos. It is astounding what happened, and almost unbelievable to me that they did not manage to sink the boat. I must point out that there is evidence that a number of the attackers were resistant to attacking the boat after they saw its flag, but “I was just following orders” became no longer an alibi after WWII and the Nuremberg trials.

I dated a nice man who was stationed on this ship back in the 60’s and now I’m heartsick to think he could be one of the ones who were killed in the attack.
My heart goes out to all the survivors and their families and friends.

We have to be dilligent when it comes to Israel. USS Liberty folks I have heard about your plight for years and have tried to spread the word to friends and people I know.

It is with much false hubris these people treat others. If this lot loose their protection from harm and retribution, we shall see how truly cowardly the jew/zionist is. Take Palestine as a daily example, here the same “mouthy” jews are killing helpless peoples. If the tables were turned and the courageous Palestinians were able to defend themselves the cowardly jew/zionists would run with their tail between their legs, just look at the recent Lebanese atrocities. Funny how whenever Israel is caught perpetrating crimes they cry ‘holocaust’.
Newsflash - the holocaust is not a ‘get out of jail free’ card and in fact, Israel attempting to use it as such is disgusting and an insult to the victims of the holocaust.
I guess Israelis aren’t taught that two wrongs don’t make a right. Would explain why they act just like the Nazis with the palestinians.

Years ago I was at a garage sale and picked up a book about the liberty for 50 cents or a dollar. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Now I sometimes feel as though our nation is in thrall to Israel.
The other night as I was watching our presidential candidates fall over one another to pledge their loyalty to some country other than the US I felt ashamed of our government.
It seems as though most Americans have no idea how Israel came into existence or why we are at their beck and call. We are deluged with pro-Israel propaganda. Any public figure who speaks out is immediately attacked. Even as I type these words I feel fear. The threat of being declared “anti-semetic” and ostracized seems more powerful than any army of occupation. I fear that my children will be compelled to fight and die for Israel, to kill people with whom they have no dispute. I feel sadness for all of us.
